Overview
What is an eSIM API?
An eSIM API lets your software activate digital SIM profiles on demand. Instead of negotiating with carriers and building provisioning infrastructure, you call a REST endpoint with a package ID and receive a QR code for your customer.
The typical flow: your customer selects a destination and data plan → your backend calls POST /esim/activate → the API returns a QR code → your customer scans it and connects. Webhooks notify you when activations complete, SIMs expire, or usage thresholds are hit.
OmaxTelecom's eSIM API is called Bappy. It covers 210+ countries with 761 ready-made packages, supports eSIM and physical SIM, and includes SMS messaging. Authentication is API-key based, and you work in production from day one. There is no sandbox.
